Senior SysOps/DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior SysOps/DevOps engineer to own the operations domain of our AWS‑based AI platform. You will be the technical owner of compute, networking, Kubernetes and serverless foundations that support large‑scale AI workloads for institutional clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate auto‑scaling compute for batch AI pipelines, including cost‑aware scheduling.
• Own and maintain our EKS clusters and the Qdrant vector‑database layer, handling capacity planning, upgrades and performance tuning.
• Manage AWS Lambda glue services and internal APIs, tracking and optimizing per‑invocation cost.
• Define and harden VPC, NACL, security‑group and VPN/Tailscale network architecture for both external and internal traffic.
• Lead disaster‑recovery design, backup strategy and RPO/RTO validation for platform‑scale events.
• Drive cost‑engineering initiatives such as Graviton adoption, right‑sizing and storage tiering.

Required profile

• 4+ years of SysOps/DevOps/SRE experience with at least 2 years of production‑level AWS ownership.
• Strong background in Kubernetes operations, networking design and security‑first practices.
• Fluent English communication skills and ability to work directly with CTO and engineering teams.
