Android Developer (Kotlin) – Restaurant POS Ecosystem

About the role

Poslik is seeking a full‑time Android Developer to join its team in El Menzah. You will work on the company’s restaurant POS ecosystem, building Kotlin‑based mobile applications that enable order management, payment processing and real‑time communication with other POS components.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and modern architecture (MVVM, Jetpack).
• Integrate RESTful APIs, handle JSON data and ensure reliable real‑time connectivity.
• Collaborate with product, UX and operations teams to refine requirements and improve user experience.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions and optimise app performance and reliability.
• Debug, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including offline capabilities and secure data handling.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Android development with Kotlin, Android SDK and Jetpack components.
• Experience with RESTful API integration, JSON handling and real‑time network communication.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and agile development practices.
• Ability to write clean, testable code and use unit‑testing and debugging tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills in a hybrid work environment.
