Senior Laravel Developer

About the role

Software Morrow Axis is building the next generation of fintech solutions and needs a battle‑tested Senior Laravel Developer. You will own the design and maintenance of high‑performance, secure backend services that power critical financial workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain core Laravel services that handle high‑volume transactional processing.
• Design robust database schemas, write optimized queries, and ensure transaction integrity across financial workflows.
• Integrate and coordinate with adjacent Go and Java services, maintaining clean API contracts and consistent data flow.
• Write comprehensive automated tests and perform stress‑testing to guarantee resilience under heavy load.
• Identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks in database queries, API responses, and queue/job processing.

Required profile

• 5+ years of production experience with Laravel, including deep knowledge of queues, events, service providers, and large‑scale Eloquent usage.
• Proven experience building secure, zero‑downtime fintech or transactional systems.
• Pragmatic architectural mindset—knowing when to refactor and when to preserve stable services.
• Strong expertise with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), transaction isolation, and caching strategies such as Redis.
