Senior Java Developer – Relocate to Portugal

About the role

Affinity is looking for a Senior Java Developer to join its Lisbon office and help deliver scalable, cloud‑native solutions for clients across Europe. You will work in a vibrant, people‑first environment where professional growth and cultural experience go hand in hand.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular.
• Implement containerised solutions with Docker and Kubernetes and manage cloud deployments on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and Ansible.
• Set up monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana and the ELK stack.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality releases and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience building scalable full‑stack applications.
• Strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot) and Angular.
• Solid background working in Linux environments.
• Fluent in English and French (C1 level).
