Senior Java Developer – Relocate to Portugal

About the role

Aubay Portugal is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join its international technology consultancy team. The position is based in Portugal and requires relocation, offering the chance to work on modern, cloud‑based solutions for strategic sectors such as banking, insurance, automotive, and telecommunications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot.
• Implement micro‑services architectures and integrate them into cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of modern architectures and cloud‑based solutions.
• Fluent in English (minimum B2) and good command of French (minimum B2).
• Willingness to relocate to Portugal.
