Senior Cybersecurity Engineer – Security‑by‑Design

About the role

MICLA Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead security activities for mission‑critical digital platforms in institutional environments. The role focuses on secure architecture, application security, infrastructure hardening, and audit readiness for on‑premise deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and supervise the project cybersecurity plan, aligning with security‑by‑design, OWASP, and local regulatory requirements.
• Perform risk assessments, threat modeling, secure architecture reviews, and vulnerability management across applications, infrastructure, databases, and integrations.
• Support migration from cloud‑based Linux to on‑premise IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty/Linux, validating configurations, TLS/certificate handling, secrets management, and hardening.
• Prepare audit evidence packs, coordinate remediation, and track security findings through to production release.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines, including dependency scanning, code quality gates, and configuration reviews.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cybersecurity engineering for enterprise‑grade, on‑premise systems.
• Strong knowledge of security standards, audit processes, and Tunisian cybersecurity regulations.
• Ability to work closely with developers, DevOps, QA, and client IT/security stakeholders.
