Production Technician

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Production Technician to join our manufacturing team at CROWN Maghreb Can. You will operate and maintain equipment that produces metal packaging, ensuring smooth production flow and high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate presses, forming machines, and conveyor systems while following safety protocols.
• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs to minimise downtime.
• Monitor product quality using visual checks and measuring tools, documenting compliance with specifications.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment malfunctions and escalate complex issues to senior technicians.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods, supporting accurate inventory management.
• Complete production logs, quality records, and other documentation promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in line with 6S principles and company safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in industrial mechanics or electrical technology is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and production specifications.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
