Production Manager – Operations

About the role

As a Production Manager within Lear's Operations team, you will drive production performance across multiple units. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will ensure efficient manufacturing processes, meet delivery targets, and uphold the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate production schedules with all relevant departments.
• Organize and oversee production activities across units to ensure operational efficiency.
• Monitor performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead, coach, and manage production teams and front‑line managers.
• Maintain dashboards, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with QRQC, LPA audits, 5S standards, and manage WIP inventory.
• Support and maintain IATF, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role overseeing production teams.
• Proven ability to manage onboarding, training, and performance.

• IATF certification standards.
• ISO 14001 environmental management.
• ISO 45001 occupational health and safety.
• QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control).
• LPA (Lean Process Audits).
• 5S workplace organization.
