Electrical Field Service Technician

About the role

Arcenciel SARL is seeking an Electrical Field Service Technician to join its team in Tunis. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment used in industrial machinery across Tunisia and the wider region.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on industrial systems and machinery.
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Support installation, commissioning and start‑up of new machinery and automation solutions.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to deliver tailored solutions and advise on best practices.
• Travel domestically and regionally to Algeria and Libya as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent proven experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel within the region and work on‑site.

Required skills

• Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Interpretation of electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
• Experience with Siemens and Beckhoff automation platforms, including PLCs, drives and diagnostics.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in industrial environments.
