Nutanix Engineer / Networking IT Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Nutanix Engineer / Networking IT Support Engineer to join our team on a freelance, on‑call basis in Tunis, Tunisia. The role focuses on break‑and‑fix support for enterprise infrastructure, combining hands‑on work with both onsite and remote assistance while ensuring high‑quality service for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote break‑and‑fix support for networking and infrastructure incidents.
• Deploy, configure and manage Nutanix HCI environments (AOS, AHV, Prism).
• Perform system upgrades, patching and lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, virtualization and network issues.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching).
• Implement and support backup and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Respond to critical incidents within agreed response times.
• Collaborate with global and regional teams on infrastructure and cloud projects.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and incident reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure, virtualization, networking or IT support engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Nutanix ecosystem.
• Experience supporting VMware and/or Hyper‑V environments.
• Valid CCNA certification and at least 90 % score on induction assessment.
• Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work independently in customer‑facing environments.
