About the role
Westlake is seeking an experienced, hands‑on HR Business Partner to support its manufacturing site in Fouchana, Tunisia. In this key position you will align the people strategy with business objectives and manage the full employee life‑cycle at the plant.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary HR contact for managers, employees, unions and the regional HR team.
- Manage core HR processes including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, training, talent management, compensation, benefits and employee relations.
- Ensure accurate HR data, compliance with Tunisian labour law and implementation of collective/company agreements.
- Drive headcount and labour‑cost planning, produce HR reports and analyses.
- Lead local HR initiatives, change‑management and communication activities while representing Westlake’s values and culture.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an industrial and international environment.
- Strong experience in employee relations, conflict resolution and negotiations.
- Very good English (spoken and written).
- Analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
- Hands‑on, independent working style with high accountability and a business‑oriented mindset.
