ET Consultant – Tunis

About the role

The World Bank is seeking an ET Consultant to support its Maghreb Department in Tunisia. The role focuses on delivering analytical and advisory services that help address development challenges across the MENAAP region.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct economic and sectoral analyses for client countries in the Maghreb and broader MENAAP region.
• Prepare policy briefs, reports, and presentations for senior World Bank staff and client ministries.
• Assist in designing and monitoring development projects that promote inclusive growth, gender equity, and green transitions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure evidence‑based recommendations.
• Support knowledge sharing and capacity‑building activities with local partners.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in economics, development studies, public policy, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in development consulting, research, or policy analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
• Demonstrated ability to work in multicultural environments and manage multiple tasks.
