Drilling Supervisor

About the role

The Drilling Supervisor will lead and coordinate drilling and completion activities on offshore/onshore wells, ensuring safe and efficient operations in a 28/28 rotation schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day well operations (WO) as the primary point of contact for the drilling team.
• Oversee both drilling and completion phases, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
• Manage interface with contractors, operators, and engineering teams.
• Utilise Landmark OpenWells software for well planning, monitoring and reporting.
• Maintain well‑control standards and ensure IWCF Level 4 compliance.
• Coordinate shift hand‑overs and maintain accurate operational documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in drilling operations, including time as an operator/contractor WO supervisor.
• At least 5 years recent experience as a Day WO Supervisor for an operator.
• Experience in completion engineering or toolpusher roles is an advantage.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of French or Arabic is a plus.
• Valid IWCF Well Control Level 4 (or equivalent) certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Landmark “OpenWells” software.
• Strong well‑control knowledge (IWCF Level 4).
• Ability to supervise drilling and completion operations.
• Extensive experience in day‑shift well‑site supervision.
