Continuous Improvement Engineer (CIP) – Sousse

About the role

We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead operational excellence initiatives at our plant in Sousse. The role focuses on delivering measurable cost savings, boosting productivity, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and implement continuous improvement projects in partnership with Production, Logistics, Quality and other departments.
• Identify performance improvement opportunities across the product lifecycle and execute corrective measures.
• Coordinate improvement programs with other plant locations and central functions.
• Develop and maintain a best‑practice database aligned with plant management.
• Monitor compliance with standards and propose enhancements where needed.
• Analyse KPIs such as productivity, scrap rate and capacity utilisation, defining improvement actions.
• Facilitate workshops to uncover optimisation opportunities (time, space, material, equipment efficiency, error reduction).
• Prepare structured reports and present outcomes to senior management.
• Define and track action plans, responsibilities and timelines to ensure successful implementation.
• Support optimisation of processes, standards and machinery, including digital tools and monitoring systems.
• Deliver training on continuous improvement methodologies, Lean tools and project management.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Informatics, Mechatronics, Electromechanics or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal English skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., Six Sigma, SMED, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping) is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar continuous improvement role is considered an asset.
