Client Onboarding Officer

About the role

The Client Onboarding Officer will join Bank ABC Tunisia's Client Onboarding unit, ensuring that new individual accounts are opened efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with Central Bank of Tunisia regulations and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage account opening requests via the ABC Clic Portal Administration platform.
• Process daily account opening requests with high accuracy and operational controls.
• Verify customer data quality before and after migration to the Ambit system.
• Ensure KYC reviews and due‑diligence checks are performed through the SIRON system.
• Maintain electronic archiving of all digital account‑opening documentation.
• Identify, document, and escalate exceptions, discrepancies, and compliance issues.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Maintain accurate records and performance indicators for onboarding activities.
• Validate branch‑opened accounts for completeness and regulatory compliance.
• Process signature changes, customer updates, and account suppressions.
• Activate dormant accounts following due‑diligence procedures.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
• Strong knowledge of Tunisian banking law and Central Bank of Tunisia regulations.
• Professional behavior, rigor, integrity, and strong communication skills.
• Commitment to follow procedures, local regulations, and audit recommendations.
