Azure Platform & DevOps Lead

About the role

Mobelite is seeking an experienced Azure Platform & DevOps Lead to drive the transition of on‑prem services to a cloud‑native, AI‑enabled SaaS ecosystem on Microsoft Azure. The role combines technical leadership with hands‑on engineering to ensure secure, scalable, and cost‑effective platform operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Platform Operations engineers, handling performance management, training and career development.
• Collaborate with delivery managers and architects on cloud platform design, automated deployment and security testing.
• Drive DevOps best practices, SaaS platform standards and observability across development and operations teams.
• Architect and migrate on‑prem workloads to Azure PaaS/IaaS, using AKS, Docker and container orchestration.
• Develop and maintain Terraform and PowerShell modules, optimise cloud costs through capacity planning and scaling.
• Implement security controls, ensure ISO27001 and SOC2 compliance, and embed SAST, DAST, IAST and container scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage incident response, patching, upgrades, SSL renewals and produce SLA/OLA reports.
• Identify onboarding gaps, create operational dashboards and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in infrastructure, software engineering or DevOps.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering leadership with direct line‑management responsibilities.
• Proven experience in complex hybrid environments (on‑prem and cloud).
