About the role
We are looking for an English‑speaking Accounting Assistant to join our finance team in Tunis. The role supports daily accounting operations, payroll processing and ensures that financial records are accurate and compliant with local regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Record and process accounting and payroll transactions.
- Perform physical inventory and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
- Maintain well‑documented accounting records.
- Help prepare financial reports and schedules.
- Support audit activities by preparing documentation and responding to requests.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors and external auditors.
- Utilise accounting systems and Excel to manage financial data efficiently.
Required profile
- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Strong attention to detail, good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Required skills
- Good knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably D365 Finance.
