Software Engineer – FPGA Prototyping (Hardware-Assisted Verification)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join the Hardware-Assisted Verification division, working on FPGA‑based prototyping R&D for the Veloce proFPGA platform. You will collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and debug software that supports internal and external products.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in designing, developing, modifying, and implementing software solutions.
• Ensure functional quality of released products across required platforms.
• Develop low‑level validation software for FPGA components.
• Integrate system components in close coordination with the software team.
• Work under supervision while applying basic skills with moderate proficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with C++, algorithms, and object‑oriented software development.
• Proficiency in digital design using HDL languages (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog).
• Hands‑on experience with FPGA design, Vivado, Quartus, and static timing analysis.
• Strong debugging skills in RTL design and simulation.
• Familiarity with Linux and scripting languages such as TCL, Bash, and Python.
• Experience working in collaborative, multi‑team environments using version control systems (Git, Perforce, SVN).
• Fluent English communication skills.
