Senior Technical Architect – Microsoft Fabric & Power BI

About the role

As a Senior Technical Architect you will lead the design and delivery of reusable, product‑oriented data and analytics solutions on Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. You will work end‑to‑end from data ingestion and Python‑based transformations to analytics‑ready models and semantic layers, ensuring high performance and usability.

Key responsibilities

• Build end‑to‑end Power BI solutions including semantic models, DAX measures, dashboards and reports.
• Design scalable analytical models (star schemas, conformed dimensions) and reusable datasets for multiple consumers.
• Develop reusable data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2 and Python/PySpark notebooks, applying Medallion architecture principles.
• Apply engineering best practices: modular code, naming conventions, documentation, version control with Git/GitHub, and CI/CD integration.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data, BI or analytics roles.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI (semantic model, DAX, reporting) and Python for data transformation.
• Solid understanding of data modelling, data warehouse/Lakehouse concepts and engineering mindset applied to data.
