Senior MLOps / AI Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Ooredoo Tunisia is looking for a Senior MLOps / AI Infrastructure Engineer to build and run AI workloads across its infrastructure. The role covers deploying and optimizing AI models, orchestrating containers with GPUs, managing MLOps pipelines and CI/CD, and coordinating with Infrastructure and Security teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and optimize AI models for batch and real-time inference.
• Manage container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift or equivalent) for AI workloads with GPU orchestration.
• Design and manage MLOps pipelines with experiment tracking (MLflow or equivalent) and workflow orchestration (Airflow, Prefect or equivalent).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for AI applications using container registries, version control and automation tools (GitLab, OpenShift Pipelines or equivalent).
• Configure and maintain hybrid cloud infrastructure (GCP, Azure, AWS or equivalent) for AI training and serving.
• Implement Zero Trust security (Identity-Aware Proxy, RBAC, service mesh or equivalent patterns).
• Monitor AI system performance, resource utilization and cost optimization.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure and Security teams on compliance and governance.
• Automate deployment workflows with Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps tools (Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD or equivalent).
• Ensure model versioning, reproducibility and audit trails.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or engineering degree in Computer Science, DevOps or a related field.
• Proven experience in DevOps/MLOps with deployment of AI systems.
• Expert proficiency in container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with ML experiment tracking (MLflow or equivalent), workflow orchestration (Airflow or equivalent) and model serving frameworks (vLLM or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, Azure or equivalent); certification preferred.
• Deep understanding of security best practices (IAM, encryption, network policies, Zero Trust architectures).
• Knowledge of GDPR, AI Act and compliance automation; proven experience in Cloud Financial Management (FinOps) and cost forecasting for large-scale AI workloads.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools (GitLab, OpenShift Pipelines or equivalent) and container registries.
• Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible or equivalent) and GitOps tools (ArgoCD, FluxCD or similar).
• GPU management, CUDA/ROCm and infrastructure optimization.
• Monitoring and observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, cloud-native monitoring).
• Scripting (Python, Bash or equivalent) and Linux system administration.
• Assets: security certifications (CISSP, CEH or cloud security), service mesh (Istio) and API gateway experience.
