Senior Manager Corporate Affairs – Tunisia & Libya

About the role

Philip Morris International is seeking a Senior Manager of Corporate Affairs for Tunisia and Libya. Based in Tunis, you will shape and execute the company’s corporate affairs strategy across the region, supporting the transition to smoke‑free products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive Corporate Affairs strategy aligned with PMI’s long‑term objectives.
• Monitor legislative, economic, political and regulatory developments and advise senior leadership on risks and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant rules, regulations and cultural norms throughout product innovation, promotion, trade programs and market research.
• Design and deliver internal and external communication programmes in partnership with the PMI Communications team.
• Plan and coordinate events, conferences and community‑engagement initiatives.
• Contribute to the long‑range corporate affairs plan to support sustainable growth.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate affairs inquiries and coordinate responses across functions.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Public Relations, Communications, Political Science, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of proven experience in corporate affairs, public relations or corporate communications.
• Strong understanding of governmental affairs, political landscape and regulatory environments in the region.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.
