Senior Consultant - Supply Chain & Operations

About the role

EY is looking for a Senior Consultant in Supply Chain & Operations. You will build and strengthen internal and external relationships, identify business opportunities for EY with guidance from partners and managers, and turn your knowledge into commercial insights for clients. You will also improve operational efficiency on Supply Chain & Operations projects and lead teams or parts of teams depending on engagement size.

Key responsibilities

• Structure and manage work streams under the manager's supervision, including storyboarding, operational diagnosis, recommendations, analysis and modelling, and coaching junior team members.
• Build lasting client relationships and take part in business development initiatives.
• Develop an internal network that leverages EY's subject matter expertise.
• Help build the Business Consulting team, including hiring, training, staffing, recruiting, financials, team events and mentoring.
• Work on projects such as transforming supply chains, reviewing and improving supply chain and procurement functions, logistics network transformation, Industry 4.0 roadmaps, and IA projects for supply chain operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or Logistics), with a graduate degree preferred.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in industrial or distribution companies in supply chain roles, or as a supply chain consultant, or other relevant experience.
• Experience improving procurement performance for large-spend organisations with complex procurements.
• Preferred: experience managing strategic sourcing activities and familiarity with supply chain and procurement technologies.
• Strong client handling skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders; excellent oral and written communication in Arabic, French and English.
