Procurement Manager

About the role

Carthage Insight Industries, a growing industrial company, is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and structure its sourcing and supply chain strategy. Reporting to General Management, the role acts as the key link between production, finance and logistics, ensuring materials, equipment and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively and on time. The manager takes full ownership of the procurement function, from strategy design to supplier negotiation and performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve the company's procurement strategy in line with business objectives
• Identify, evaluate and select local and international suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability and sustainability
• Lead contract negotiations on price, payment conditions and delivery terms
• Manage the supplier lifecycle: onboarding, performance evaluation, risk assessment and relationship management
• Monitor raw material and equipment markets to anticipate price fluctuations and supply risks
• Develop and track procurement KPIs such as cost savings, lead times, supplier performance and contract compliance
• Coordinate with production, finance and logistics teams to align purchasing plans with operational needs
• Manage import/export processes, customs documentation and compliance with Tunisian trade regulations
• Lead, coach and develop the procurement team, setting clear objectives and targets
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, ethical sourcing standards and legal requirements
• Report regularly to senior management on procurement performance and cost savings initiatives
• Drive digitalization and process improvement within procurement
