Senior AI Engineer (Remote)

About the role

DeepMetis is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to design and deliver LLM‑powered solutions for its customers. You will work remotely within a supportive, curious team that values high‑quality code and innovative AI applications.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement intelligent LLM‑driven ETL pipelines that transform unstructured data into structured outputs.
• Develop autonomous multi‑agent systems using state‑of‑the‑art frameworks to automate complex business processes.
• Design and maintain robust evaluation frameworks to quantify AI performance and ensure production quality.
• Build and deploy high‑performance Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and wrap AI logic into production‑ready microservices (e.g., FastAPI).
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and technical design discussions to share knowledge and solve problems collectively.

Required profile

• Fluent English (company operates in English only).
• At least 2 years of professional engineering experience (5 + years preferred for senior level).
• Strong daily use of Python (minimum 2 years).
• Hands‑on experience shipping LLM‑powered features (1‑3 years).
• Proven experience building AI workflows, multi‑agent orchestration, and RAG systems in production.
• Track record of delivering solutions used by paying customers.
• Effective communicator in async text and video calls.
• Genuine curiosity about recent AI research and technologies.
