Senior Advisor – SOGIESC Diversity & Inclusion

About the role

The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) seeks a Senior Advisor to lead the analysis and implementation of diversity and inclusion initiatives focused on Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, Gender Expression and Sex Characteristics (SOGIESC). The role supports the Secretariat and Member Associations worldwide in creating gender‑equitable services within the broader Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) framework.

Key responsibilities

• Adapt and roll out gender equality, diversity and inclusion programming across IPPF offices and Member Associations.
• Provide technical assistance to develop services that are accessible and equitable for people of diverse SOGIESC.
• Facilitate best‑practice sharing and knowledge exchange among Member Associations.
• Support the implementation of IPPF’s Gender Equality Policy and related initiatives.
• Engage with regional and global fora, as well as the IPPF SOGIESC Centre of Excellence, to promote inclusive practices.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in gender equality, diversity, and inclusion, preferably within international NGOs or public health contexts.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with multi‑disciplinary teams across regions.
• Strong analytical skills to assess needs and design inclusive strategies.
• Excellent communication skills for advocacy, training, and stakeholder engagement.
