About the role
The African Development Bank’s Power, Energy, Climate Change and Green Growth Department (PECG) is seeking a senior consultant to support the implementation of its Climate Change Action Plan and Green Growth Strategic Framework across North Africa. The role will focus on integrating climate‑related policies into both public and private sector operations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in applying the Climate Change Action Plan and Green Growth Strategic Framework, together with related policies, procedures and guidelines, to Bank operations in the North Africa region.
- Work with Operational Complexes to ensure climate‑change and green‑growth considerations are mainstreamed across all regional activities.
- Provide advisory support for accessing green finance across the Bank’s projects and programmes in North Africa.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in climate‑change, green‑growth and green‑finance, particularly in regional advisory and investment mobilisation.
