Quality Lead Specialist – Automotive Manufacturing

About the role

Autoliv is seeking a Quality Lead Specialist to drive excellence in vehicle safety components such as seatbelts, airbags, and steering wheels. You will lead the deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of PFMEAs and Control Plans across manufacturing processes, ensuring the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation, review, update, and approval of PFMEAs and Control Plans following process changes, audits, or quality incidents.
• Ensure alignment between customer requirements, PFMEAs, Control Plans, work instructions, and inspection standards.
• Facilitate cross‑functional risk‑assessment workshops and drive risk‑reduction actions.
• Conduct PFMEA and Control Plan audits to verify effectiveness and compliance.
• Support APQP activities, industrialization projects, and launch readiness.
• Define and monitor process‑control strategies and risk‑prevention initiatives.
• Coach teams on AIAG‑VDA PFMEA methodology and quality best practices.
• Participate in customer, IATF, and internal audits to ensure compliance with standards and CSR.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) with at least 5 years of automotive industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on PFMEA and Control Plan ownership.
• Fluent in English and French with strong decision‑making abilities.
