Quality Coordinator - Automotive Manufacturing

About the role

Lear, a global automotive technology leader in seating and e-systems, is opening its second plant and first greenfield manufacturing facility in Bizerte, Tunisia, within its Thermal Comfort Systems (TCS) division. It is looking for a Quality Coordinator to support and monitor quality processes in the automotive production environment, ensuring compliance with customer specifications and industry standards. The role coordinates quality controls, manages quality documentation and supports audits, working closely with production, engineering and customer teams.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the manufacturing process functions correctly according to quality standards
• Supervise product quality and materials
• Supervise the implementation of customer requirements and monitor their fulfillment
• Handle customer complaints and prepare 8D reports based on 5 Whys analysis and Ishikawa diagrams
• Carry out the part approval process (PPAP) according to VDA 6.3 and AIAG norms
• Report and supervise key indicators (KPIs) and activities to improve them
• Maintain workplace order and tidiness according to 5S principles
• Support continuous improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Engineering degree
• More than 3 years of experience in the automotive industry in a similar position
• Master of Quality core tools
• Experience in team management
• Good communication skills in both French and English

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 process audit
• Core quality tools: APQP, MSA, SPC, Control Plan, FMEA, PPAP
• SAP or similar ERP system knowledge is appreciated
• Strong organizational and analytical skills; good knowledge of office tools (Excel)
