Customer Quality Engineer - TCS Plant Launch

About the role

Lear, a global automotive technology leader in seating and e-systems, is launching its second plant and first greenfield manufacturing facility in Bizerte, Tunisia, within its Thermal Comfort Systems (TCS) division. The Customer Quality Engineer reports directly to the Quality Manager and acts as the customer's representative on site, applying the quality policy according to customer requirements, the IATF standard and the group's standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main communication partner for the customer
• Manage action plans for customer quality concerns and track all customer KPIs, including setting and implementing action plans
• Support and participate in P-FMEA
• Manage customer claims and prepare 8D reports
• Lead problem-solving meetings and cooperate with APQP engineers
• Track PPAP in serial production and customer release evidence
• Take an active part in change management (product and process)

Required profile

• Engineering degree
• More than 3 years of experience in the automotive industry in a similar position
• Experience in a Customer Quality role
• Good communication skills in both French and English

Required skills

• P-FMEA, PPAP and 8D
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and ISO 19011
• SAP or similar ERP system knowledge is appreciated
• Good knowledge of office tools such as Excel
