Project Owner - Digital Infrastructure

About the role

Web Hosting Canada is seeking a strategic and hands‑on Product Owner to lead the roadmap and backlog for its core digital infrastructure portfolio, including VPS, Cloud, dedicated servers and DNS services. Reporting to the Product Manager, you will collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Customer Care and other stakeholders to deliver high‑impact improvements for Canadian businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the product roadmap and backlog for IaaS offerings (VPS, Cloud, dedicated servers, DNS).
• Prioritise work based on customer needs, business impact, technical feasibility and financial considerations.
• Develop business cases that clearly define problems, customer impact and expected outcomes.
• Lead initiatives from discovery through launch, including scoping, specifications, stakeholder alignment and post‑launch follow‑up.
• Engage regularly with customers, support teams and market data to surface product opportunities.
• Partner with Engineering to ensure decisions are grounded in architecture, reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Care on positioning, launch readiness and internal enablement.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of product management or product ownership experience with infrastructure, developer‑facing, B2B SaaS, PaaS, IaaS or cloud‑hosting products.
• Proven ability to take products from discovery to continuous improvement with accountability for customer and business outcomes.
• Strong technical fluency and business judgment, capable of writing clear specifications and conducting QA.
