Production Supervisor

About the role

Yazaki is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team at its plant. You will be responsible for organizing workstations, monitoring performance, and ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Organize workstations and monitor operational performance to achieve production objectives.
• Track and analyze KPIs such as efficiency, quality, safety, absenteeism, turnover, labor hours, overtime, costs, waste, and planning.
• Implement corrective actions and continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce costs and boost performance.
• Ensure compliance with quality, hygiene, safety regulations, procedures, and work instructions.
• Provide teams with necessary resources and oversee start‑up and shutdown of production processes.
• Lead meetings, promote communication, and foster cross‑team problem solving.
• Support new project implementation, product launches, and prepare performance reports.
• Plan resource requirements, manage budgets, identify savings, and develop investment plans.
• Drive employee development through training and integrate HSE KPIs into production goals.

Required profile

• Diploma in Management or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or operations environment.
• Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in English and French.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.
