Production Planner Trim

About the role

The Production Planner – Trim is responsible for aligning customer demand with operational capacity to ensure a smooth production flow. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to develop, monitor and optimise production plans while maintaining inventory and delivery targets.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer EDI data, identify and resolve demand variations or anomalies.
• Communicate demand information across departments to ensure capacity alignment.
• Run MRP regularly, validate system outputs and support accurate planning.
• Develop and launch production plans for cutting and sewing operations.
• Monitor delivery performance and report against production and customer commitments.
• Manage inventory levels of finished goods, work‑in‑process and raw materials in line with logistics policies.
• Coordinate shipments with the warehouse to guarantee timely and accurate deliveries.
• Track engineering changes, product phase‑outs and obsolescence risks to ensure smooth transitions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in production planning or a similar role.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system for planning and inventory management.
