Product Development Engineer

About the role

Enovis is seeking a Product Development Engineer to turn research discoveries into market‑ready medical technology solutions. The role involves guiding products from concept through launch while ensuring they meet customer needs and business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Discover, develop and evaluate new product ideas, enhancements, and strategic extensions.
• Lead and track all phases of the product life‑cycle from concept through market introduction.
• Assess new concepts for customer need alignment, revenue potential and market‑share impact.
• Define product specifications and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing and Sales to ensure successful development.
• Apply engineering principles to resolve moderate‑scope technical issues and provide data‑driven recommendations.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of product development experience, preferably in medical or orthopaedic devices.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and follow detailed project instructions.
• Strong analytical mindset for reviewing data and multiple factors.
