Partnerships Officer

About the role

The Partnerships Officer will work within the United Nations Resident Coordinator Office in Tunis, supporting the UN Resident Coordinator and the UN Country Team in mobilising financing for the Sustainable Development Goals. The role focuses on identifying partnership opportunities, designing innovative financing solutions, and strengthening engagement with government, private sector, civil society and development partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and advise on partnership opportunities that drive financing for development, aligned with national analysis and financing frameworks.
• Prepare briefing papers, discussion points and strategies to highlight financing gaps and propose partnership solutions.
• Promote innovative financing mechanisms, including blended financing solutions.
• Contribute to advocacy, communications and dialogue with partners to improve development finance policies and practices.
• Collaborate closely with the RCO Economist to engage relevant government counterparts, private sector, civil society and development partners around SDG financing.
• Design and execute innovative proposals to strengthen UN Country Team engagement and reputation.
