Lead Expert Finance Automation & RPA

About the role

LEONI is seeking a Lead Expert in Finance Automation & RPA to join its Finance Shared Service Center. You will act as the local point of contact for automation initiatives, helping to scale digital finance solutions in a structured and sustainable manner.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and document automation, RPA, workflow and AI‑assisted improvement opportunities within Finance SSC processes.
• Gather, structure and validate business requirements, including accounting logic, controls and data‑quality needs.
• Support existing automation solutions and coordinate incidents, changes, testing and business‑side root‑cause analysis.
• Coordinate with IT, global automation experts and, when necessary, external vendors or implementation partners.
• Report the automation pipeline, status, risks and benefits to local management and the global Automation/RPA team.

Required profile

• Experience in Finance Shared Service Center processes or comparable finance operations environments.
• Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of finance postings, reconciliations, controls and reporting requirements.
• Digital affinity with a solid grasp of automation technologies, workflow solutions, RPA and AI use cases in finance.
• Structured, proactive working style with strong communication skills and fluent English.
• Experience with automation solution providers is a plus but not mandatory.
