Java Software Engineer (Integration)

About the role

Infor is hiring an Integration Software Engineer in Tunis to work on the integration components of Infor Supply Chain Planning (Infor SCP). The role focuses on building new continuous integrations between SCP and Infor EPRs and extending existing ones, according to specifications for data mappings and information flows. The candidate is expected to study the existing solution before contributing to the planned implementation work.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in the full development life cycle of approved functional designs, including software design, implementation, testing and deployment.
• Follow the SCP software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
• Use AI at every stage of the SDLC.
• Ensure quality by writing unit tests and asserting outcomes.
• Work on large projects with new features, as well as on defects and bug fixes.
• Deliver products of the highest quality, security and performance, and recommend improvements proactively.

Required profile

• Proficient English speaker and writer.
• Proactive, self-motivated and driven.
• 2+ years of programming experience in Java or another object-oriented language.

Required skills

• Java or other object-oriented languages
• Preferred: streaming technologies such as Kafka
• Preferred: REST APIs/services
• Preferred: JIRA and Git
