Issue Convergence Engineer

About the role

MICLA Engineering & Design is seeking an Issue Convergence Engineer to support a major automotive customer. The role focuses on managing electrical and electronic issues throughout vehicle development, validation, and industrialisation, ensuring timely resolution and high‑quality deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily electrical and electronic issues, coordinating triage with technical analysts.
• Drive issue resolution actions: sanity checks, analysis, solution definition, stakeholder assignment, and validation.
• Collaborate with product development and plant quality teams to assess issue severity.
• Oversee deliverable management, meeting due dates and forecast volumes.
• Produce outputs using assigned tools and maintain reporting frequency as defined in the tool development plan.
• Track progress indicators and present status in weekly project reviews.
• Define and classify issues by severity (low, medium, high) and manage issue acceptance, action planning, and root‑cause analysis.
• Deliver high‑quality results within deadlines using an agile, collaborative approach.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or Vehicle Engineering.
• Strong automotive EE background with knowledge of vehicle architecture, systems, and component requirements.
• Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN) and diagnostic processes.
• Experience working with engineering tools and project management environments.
