About the role
The Incoming Quality Inspection Engineer ensures that all materials, components, and supplier deliveries meet HUBER+SUHNER quality standards, customer requirements, and international regulations before they enter production. Working at the Tunisian plant, the role supports supplier performance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Perform incoming inspections of raw materials and supplier deliveries according to inspection plans, drawings, specifications, and internal procedures.
- Validate conformity using measuring and testing equipment and ensure compliance with ISO and customer specifications.
- Manage inspection records, test reports, certificates of conformity, and traceability documentation.
- Create and handle Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) for rejected items and coordinate containment actions.
- Collaborate with suppliers, Purchasing, Engineering, and Production to resolve quality issues.
- Follow up on supplier corrective actions and verify their effectiveness.
- Participate in root‑cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, and Pareto methods.
- Support supplier evaluations, audits, and performance monitoring.
- Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives for inspection efficiency and supplier performance.
- Ensure proper calibration and use of measuring equipment and report quality KPIs.
Required profile
- University degree in Quality, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Incoming Quality or Supplier Quality, preferably in automotive or electronics manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and control plans.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Fluent English and ability to work in a multicultural, cross‑functional environment.
