Head of Production – Molding (Tunisia)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Production – Molding to lead our injection molding operations in Tunisia. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, strengthening technical expertise, and improving manufacturing performance within a fast‑paced automotive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own all molding‑related production processes, including injection molding and plastics processing.
• Boost productivity, quality, and cost performance across the molding line.
• Analyze and optimise existing processes, machine set‑ups and tooling performance.
• Implement structured problem‑solving methods such as Lean and root‑cause analysis.
• Lead, develop and organise the local molding team (setters, engineers, etc.).
• Define clear roles, responsibilities and performance metrics for the team.
• Act as the on‑site technical expert for molding processes and support complex troubleshooting.
• Train and up‑skill local staff.
• Collaborate closely with production, quality, maintenance and engineering functions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and operational standards.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent practical experience in molding.
• Several years of experience in injection molding or plastics processing, preferably in an automotive or similar industrial setting.
• Strong technical expertise in molding processes, machine set‑up, tooling and troubleshooting.
• Proven record of improving process stability, quality and efficiency.
• Leadership experience in an international environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a hands‑on approach.
• Fluent English (mandatory).
