Group Purchasing Manager – Poultry Industry

About the role

The company is a fast‑growing integrated poultry group covering the full value chain from breeding to processing and sales. Reporting to the Administrative and Financial Directorate, the Group Purchasing Manager will lead the purchasing strategy across all sites and ensure reliable supply of raw materials, equipment and services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the group‑wide procurement strategy aligned with economic performance and quality goals.
• Manage strategic raw‑material purchases (compound feeds, breeding inputs, packaging) and general purchases (equipment, services, transport).
• Identify, select and negotiate with suppliers to optimise cost, lead‑time and quality.
• Secure supply for all sites and anticipate risk of shortages.
• Draft and monitor supplier contracts, including commercial terms, quality commitments and price‑review clauses.
• Develop reporting tools and dashboards for budgets, performance indicators and realised savings.
• Collaborate closely with site directors, production and logistics to forecast needs.
• Conduct market watch on commodity prices (cereals, meals, additives) and propose hedging strategies.
• Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and food‑safety/quality requirements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in management, commerce, agro‑economics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar purchasing role, preferably in agri‑food or poultry.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural commodity markets and poultry sector dynamics.
• Proven negotiation and supplier‑relationship management skills.
• Leadership ability to work transversally across multiple sites.
• Analytical mindset with strong anticipation capabilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication in French; Arabic and/or English are a plus.
