Fundraising Officer

About the role

Edidact is looking for a Fundraising Officer for a full-time hybrid position based in Tunis, with part of the work done from home. The officer designs and runs fundraising campaigns, builds relationships with donors and partners, and manages outreach to individuals, corporations and foundations.

Key responsibilities

• Research funding opportunities and prepare grant applications and proposals
• Cultivate relationships with donors and partners and manage outreach to individuals, corporations and foundations
• Coordinate fundraising events, online and in person
• Maintain accurate donor records and reports
• Work closely with program and finance teams to align fundraising with organizational priorities and ensure transparent reporting on the impact of contributions
• Monitor campaign performance, optimise strategies based on data, and support long-term partnerships

Required profile

• Demonstrated understanding of philanthropy and charities, with experience in donor relations, fundraising or non-profit development
• Experience in fundraising, development or non-profit management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Communications, Non-profit Management, Marketing, Business, or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment

Required skills

• Strong communication and writing skills for grants, proposals, reports, donor correspondence and marketing materials
• Excellent organisation skills, including planning, prioritising and keeping accurate records
• Comfort with digital tools and CRM or donor management systems
