ERP Developer – iSeries & DB2 Specialist

About the role

Join a forward‑looking team that designs, develops, and maintains robust ERP solutions on the IBM iSeries platform. You will contribute to the evolution of critical business applications while ensuring long‑term maintainability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain ERP designs, coding standards, and custom code.
• Develop structured, clean code using RPG, RPG ILE, SQLRPGLE and Control Language.
• Gather, analyse, and document system requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software components.
• Fine‑tune DB2 SQL queries and optimise database objects.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and systems analysts.
• Produce technical documentation for reference and reporting.

Required profile

• Graduate in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication skills in English and French.
• Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.

Required skills

• iSeries platform programming: RPG, RPG ILE, SQLRPGLE.
• Control Language (CLP/CLLE).
• Advanced SQL concepts, embedded SQL, cursor programming, stored procedures.
• DB2 database design: physical files, logical files, tables, indexes, views.
• Screen programming: display files, subfiles, printer files.
• UNIX/Linux operating systems.
• COBOL (appreciated).
