Director of Quality

About the role

The Director of Quality leads the plant's quality function, defines quality objectives and manages the Quality Management System in line with Coroplast Group standards and business goals. The role acts as the main interface with customers on quality matters and coordinates corrective and preventive actions across departments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement plant quality objectives and KPIs aligned with Group standards, and manage and improve the Quality Management System (IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 where applicable).
• Represent customer requirements internally and act as the main quality interface with customers, resolving complaints and quality issues promptly.
• Lead structured problem-solving using 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa and FMEA, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with Production and other departments.
• Monitor customer-specific requirements, product and process changes, and the effectiveness of action plans.
• Lead internal, external and customer audits, drive cross-functional quality workshops, and lead the Management Review with follow-up on improvement actions.
• Collaborate with the Central Quality Department in Dylaki to implement Group standards and best practices.
• Monitor and report quality indicators such as customer PPM, scrap and rework, complaints, audit results and corrective action effectiveness, and ensure quality documentation and compliance with customer, regulatory, environmental, health and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Master's degree (Bac +5) in Engineering or a relevant technical field.
• At least 7 years of experience in Quality Management in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
• Fluent English and French are mandatory; German is an advantage.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Proficiency in 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa and FMEA.
