SAP Process Engineer

About the role

This role manages and maintains SAP production master data so that it remains accurate, complete, consistent and compliant with established standards. It covers the creation, validation and coordination of BOMs, routings and work plans, and ensures SAP data stays aligned with production, engineering and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Create, update and validate Bills of Materials (BOMs) according to approved product structures, technical documentation and engineering changes.
• Create and maintain Bills of Labor (BOLs), routings and work plans in line with manufacturing processes and production requirements.
• Manage production versions and ensure consistency between BOMs, routings and production requirements.
• Coordinate material master data creation and updates with the relevant departments.
• Implement approved technical changes in SAP and update all affected production master data on time.
• Work with Product Line Management, Product Engineering, Process Engineering, Production, Logistics and Quality to keep SAP data reliable and processes aligned.
• Monitor SAP data quality, run consistency checks, analyse discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with departments and SAP support teams.
• Maintain SAP process documentation, work instructions and master data management standards, and support users through guidance and training.
• Ensure SAP production readiness for new products and process changes, support audits and drive continuous improvement of SAP processes and data governance.

Required profile

• University degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical field.
• 2 years of relevant experience in SAP master data management, manufacturing engineering, production planning or a similar role.
• Good understanding of industrial manufacturing processes, preferably in wiring harness production.
• Good written and spoken French and English.
• Ability to provide SAP user support and training.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of SAP ERP, especially production-related master data and manufacturing processes.
• Creating, updating and validating BOMs, BOLs, routings, work plans, production versions and material master data.
