Department Manager – Manufacturing (Tabarka)

About the role

We are seeking a Department Manager to lead a defined manufacturing area at a plant in Tabarka, Tunisia. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality output on schedule while ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations to meet quantity, quality, and deadline targets.
• Lead shift leaders, coach teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs such as output, scrap, OEE and productivity; implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with IATF, ISO and other quality standards; support internal and external audits.
• Secure material availability, optimise equipment utilisation, and oversee maintenance planning and TPM activities.
• Lead production‑related projects and support new product introductions (SOP).
• Maintain health, safety and environmental compliance.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role.
• Hands‑on problem‑solving attitude and strong leadership skills.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
