Data Governance Consultant

About the role

Devoteam is seeking a Data Governance Consultant to design, implement and maintain a robust data governance framework for its clients. You will work closely with business and technical teams to ensure data assets are managed consistently and aligned with enterprise architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data governance operating model, roles and responsibilities.
• Develop and document data governance process workflows.
• Gather requirements and perform business analysis for data governance initiatives.
• Support data architecture activities in line with governance objectives.
• Participate in data maturity assessments, gap analysis and alignment with enterprise architecture.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure data standards and models comply with enterprise guidelines.
• Define governance roles, processes and procedures and promote visibility of organizational data assets.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and deliver business‑impact‑driven analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in data governance, data management or similar domains.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., DAMA, Informatica, Collibra) are highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management and enterprise data standards.
• Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional environment.
