Coordinator of Volunteers

About the role

GEN QAL SOLVING GQS is looking for a full-time, on-site Coordinator of Volunteers in Nabeul, Tunisia. The coordinator recruits, onboards and schedules volunteers to support organizational programs and events, and works closely with internal teams, volunteers and partner organizations.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and schedule volunteers for programs and events
• Plan and deliver volunteer orientations and training sessions
• Maintain accurate volunteer records
• Communicate clearly about roles, responsibilities and expectations
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify volunteer needs and organize community outreach activities
• Monitor volunteer performance, give feedback and recognition, resolve issues and support continuous improvement of volunteer engagement

Required profile

• Ability to manage volunteer management activities, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling and retention
• Experience in community outreach, including building relationships with local groups and promoting volunteer opportunities
• Proven organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and reliability in record keeping
• Experience in coordination, nonprofit work or community services is preferred
• Ability to work on-site in Nabeul, Tunisia, within a team environment

Required skills

• Volunteer training: organizing orientations, developing training materials and delivering sessions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse volunteers, staff and partners
• Proficiency with basic office software and digital tools for scheduling and communication
