Continuous Improvement Coordinator – Trim

About the role

Lear, a global automotive technology leader, is seeking a Continuous Improvement (CI) Coordinator to drive Lean, Six Sigma and best‑practice initiatives at its trim plant in Menzel Bourguiba, Tunisia. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will champion a performance‑driven culture and ensure alignment with Group Operational Excellence standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate CI activities across cutting, sewing, assembly, logistics and quality functions.
• Manage and develop the CI team, setting clear objectives and fostering competence.
• Plan and execute Kaizen events and CI projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity and cost.
• Identify and eliminate waste using Lean, Six Sigma and Best Practices, delivering measurable financial gains.
• Facilitate cross‑functional teams to optimise manufacturing flow, material management and labour efficiency.
• Deploy CI tools in line with the Global CI network and ensure structured reporting.
• Support compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing or Operational Excellence.
• Proven project‑management and organisational skills.
• Industrial experience in the automotive sector, preferably in trims, seat covers or textiles.
• Strong communication and facilitation abilities.
