About the role

Casa Nova, a leading distributor of ceramic and sanitary products, is seeking a dedicated accountant to join its finance team in Bizerte Nord, Tunisia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger by recording all financial transactions, performing regular reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of account balances.
• Process and manage customer and supplier invoices, guaranteeing timely billing and payment cycles.
• Monitor inventory movements and cash handling procedures, updating stock records and cash registers as needed.
• Prepare and submit tax declarations, including value‑added tax (VAT) returns, in accordance with local regulations.
• Oversee daily treasury functions such as cash flow forecasting, bank transfers, and liquidity management.
• Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, assisting with closing activities and reporting.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in general accounting within a commercial environment.
• Strong ability to manage invoicing, inventory control, and cash flow processes.
• Familiarity with tax filing requirements, particularly VAT reporting.
• Experience participating in month‑end and year‑end closing procedures.
