CNC Milling Operator – Material Preparation & Machine Setup

About the role

LEONI, a global supplier of complex wiring systems and customer-specific cable harnesses for the automotive industry, is looking for a CNC milling operator in Sousse. The role covers handling and setting up numerically controlled production machines and instruments for part shaping by chip-forming processes, in line with work instructions.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and set up CNC machines and instruments for part shaping by chip-forming processes according to work instructions
• Ensure quality of produced parts: know the quality requirements, self-check after each step, visually inspect finished work, identify and detain defective parts and report them immediately
• Maintain process-relevant documentation and record measured parameters in the relevant software and paper records
• Check and ensure proper use and handling of equipment, tools and materials, including visual checks
• Operate other machinery and instruments at the workstation such as parameter measuring devices, band saws, lathes and manual operations like grinding, cutting and drilling

Required profile

• BTS degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electromechanical engineering
• Social and intercultural sensitivity, change management, target and result orientation, motivation and resilience, self-organisation, conflict management and teamwork
